This Vadim 4 string features a Curly Maple top and Quilted maple birds eye maple back with a “Purple Heart/Maple/Walnut” 9 piece neck!
This is a set neck design with a highly figured “Kingswood” fretboard. This neck is a 35″ inch scale neck that makes this a very articulate and fabulous sounding 4 string bass. Most of you know that the longer scale 35” and 36″ inch scale necks offer more string tension and a fuller sound than shorter scale basses. That is why the great Carl Thompson builds 36″ inch scale 4 strings! This Vadim Bass plays like a dream and sounds anyway you want it to because not only is it a 35″ inch scale 4 string but it also is equipped with the Vadim 4 Band EQ System!
It has a Gold plated Hipshot bridge, Brass Nut, Gold Knobs and Gotoh Gold Tuners, matching “Curly Maple” headstock and pickup covers. Truly an outstanding Vadim 4 string Bass.
